I have created a custom object called Counties.  In it I have zipcode, city, county and other information.  

 

In my CONTACTS  I need to create a formula field (or trigger?) that looks at the zipcode data on the contact record, references and finds the same data in the counties object, and then returns the correct county detail to the field on the contact.  Does that make sense?

 

E.g., I need the two objects (contact and county) to reference each other and then provide an answer to which county the contact is in based on the zipcode match.
