I enabled State and country/territory picklists for my Organization but how do I add it to my Contact object?

I have enabled Count/Territory Picklists for my org: I see this message:

State and country/territory picklists are enabled for your organization. To turn them off, click Disable.

How can I add this Country Picklist to my Contact object? It does not appear in the Fields and Relationships section for Contact. And is also not available on the page layout.
