We have been training our users to clone opportunities & occurrences (a custom object we built to capture date information with Opportunities) to speed the entry of repeating jobs. As I've been running reports on this, it seems the cloned opportunity/occurrence keeps the Created Date of the original. Is this correct? Is there a way to turn this off?
Obviously we could center our reports around Date Modified but that field is less stable for what we want our reports to show.

Can you create a Report or List View of the records and post a screenshot? I just cloned these and the Created Date is accurate on the original and clone.
