As I am trying to monitor whether or not my sales team are actually following up on acquired leads...I need to make sure that I have a report which can list:

 

- Lead Name

 

---Corresponding open activities/date/type etc....

 

---Corresponding closed activities/date/type etc...

 

Can someone help me design this matrix report...I can't seem to be able to address it.

    Hello Steven,

     

    From you description, it sounds like you are looking create a summary report instead of a matrix report.

     

    Give this a shot and see if it gives you what you are looking for.

     

    Create a new report, select "Activities with Leads".   Now select "Summary Report".

     

    Drop the Lead Name in the grouping.  Then drop the activity fields in the details section.

     

    Tweak the filters to query open & closed activities.  Run the report and you should be good.
