Customize Home Page layout to include custom object.

Can I customize the Home page layout for the Sales Users so they can see a custom object called - Alert Opportunity which will display their Opportunities from last 21 days?

 

Can this be done easily through configurations, or do I need to build Visual force page ?

 

please confirm.

    You CAN create Home tab components, but they are limited to Links, Images, and HTML Areas.

     

    You could include a custom link to the View/Report with the custom object records on it, or possibly write an HTML Area to display them...
