LMA: Argument 1 cannot be null

Question

I'm trying to update an existing license for my app using the License Manager. When I change the number of licensed seats from 10 to 80 I see this errror in the LMA

Argument 1 cannot be null

The error persists if I make the license be for unlimited seats, or if I change from no-expiry to an expiration date
