Why does our customized visual force page has different look in Salesforce1 app?

I was told my several of the Salesforce employees at the Salesforce1 tour in Chicago that our customized visual force page should have the same look and feel as when being used in our browers when we use it in the new Salesforce1 app.

I was just on the new app and found that this is not the case. Are there some settings that I need to change?

Any help would be much appreciated.

That Salesforce1 screenshot looks like a standard view of a custom object. Is the VF page accessed via a button override in the desktop, through a link, or a custom tab? Read this help page (http://help.salesforce.com/apex/HTViewHelpDoc?id=customize_sf1_visualforce.htm&language=en_US) for info about enabling your VF for Salesforce1.
