Mass upload activities

Question

Having for example a high number of people who participated in an event, is there a way to log an activity for the whole bunch in 1 upload, either through SalesForce itself or the external Apex Data loader? This way you could always look people up and see in their activity history which events they attended, which emails they got beforehand etc.

Hi Tom,

You need to fill in some important fields which would establish the important link related to the task object.

whoID

whatID

Subject

Activity Date

Status

ownerID

If you can map these fields than you can import the records.
