In the opportunity object, I have probability (standard field) dependent on the stage that is chosen. However, users can still change that probability if they want to. I do not want them to be able to do this. How can I make probaility read only or un-editable? I have selected read only in the page layout section but that did not work. Thanks!
Thanks. That was my next option. I tried using the ISPICKVAL but I think it doesn't work because probability is not a pick list? Would I put this formula under the validation rule for probability or for stage?
