posting emails

Right now when i add an email to sales force it just add them without first asking me to confirm if the clients it has found are correct.  Also, sometimes i send and email to three people and only want it to be added to one persons record.  All the CRM system i have used in the past had the option to allow possible matches to show up and then you could select.

    Are you using the connector?  How are you adding them to salesforce?  The connector probably has your contacts linked up to contact records in salesforce, ergo it knows exactly which contacts they are.  Also if you are using a button to send from a contact record, it knows which contact that was.  I'm confused as to why it wouldn't know which contact it was?
