I have a rather strange question that I think may not be a Salesforce issue but I'm trying to rule it out. One of my users is trying to save one of the Word documents to his desktop that is currently uploaded to an account in Salesforce. When he tries to save it, the document saves as a blank Word document.
I am trying to recreate his issue and I have no problem saving the same document to my desktop with all its original content - so I believe that it's an issue with his pc/Word set-up.
Has anyone ever seen anything like this?

I happen to have the same problem and know others that have the same problem. Did you ever find out why it happens and how to fix it?
