Hello, how do i attach the developer addition to database.com edition?

Question

Hello I am currnently a Developer additon user, and have recently acquired a Database,com account. I understand that I have to Some how connect the two accounts togerher in order to obtain a user interface for my account? Can some one please give a clearer break down of how this is suppose to Work . If this is not possible can someone please direct me to and alternative solutiong as my Overknowledge of the process is vey limited. I've already downloaded the IDE But I an drawing a complete blank. Help please
