The sales team has said that they now wish the Pardot leads would all come in as new Leads rather than connect to their pre-existing Contact records-- essentially this would create a duplicate of the prospect in Salesforce (and maybe in Pardot?) --- Is this even possible?  From my understanding, once a prospect has been syncing to SFDC and then converts to a Contact, Pardot will always sync/see that person as an SFDC "Contact"--  Can you tell me if it is possible? And if not, is there a workaround? I have read quite a bit of documentation, but not finding clarity...

Requested Workflow:

1. Prospect syncs to SFDC from Pardot via an automation rule that updates their status to SQL.

2. Currently, this automation rule also now creates a task for the owner of the lead/contact in SFDC so they know that they have a sales-ready person to follow-up on

3. Sales Manager now wants the prospects to, instead, always sync as a new Lead in Salesforce and assigned to the Sales Assistant, regardless of if it duplicates a pre-existing Contact record in Salesforce.
