Let us consider that you are trying to take cinema ticket,
You will give money to him (before taking)
He will give ticket to you along with some seat number ( after Event)
Incase of Before event, you can get all the information that is provided by user ( ex: how much money you have given, which movie you are going)
Incase of After event, you will all information along with information that is provided by salesforce ( ex: ticket number, seat number)
