I know I can dictate on a custom object whether the unique identifier is a Name or an Auto Number. Can this be done with the standard Contract object. I want the Name versus the Auto number. Thanks!

Hi Steve, you cannot change this for a standard object. you can create other fields and set them to unique, but the standard salesforce field has to stay as is.
