I need your help on the following problem .
In the home page layout we have a component called "Message and Alerts" which displays if there is any message or alert . Now my question is ...... Is it possible to display the content of this "Message and Alerts" in other languages depending on the user profile .
For ex : If the user is from Germany , i need to display the contents in German language or if the suer if from France i need to display it in French language ....
Is it possible to do that ... If yes then please let me know how to do ... This will really help me.......

If changing the users language settings or the translation workbench doesn't allow you to change the Alerts and Messages section on the homepage, try the following:
On the setup page, click App Setup...Home and then can create different homepage components (HTML Area - select a position of "Narrow (Left) Column) for each language to create your own custom Alerts section. You'll have to create a different Home Page Layout for each language but you'll be able to assign the new page layouts by user profile.
