How do I "unset" the default value for a picklist? I want it to default to none

The default value for the picklist was --None-- and I changed it to something else. How would I change it back to having no default value? Short of recreating the whole thing.

Man... this is crazy !! You are right. This is so wierd. Once you make something default , you can't go back it seems !!

Someone from Salesforce should clarify this !! Sorry even I am stuck on this one !!!
