Import event activity?

I have an email blast and survey that we send to some contacts using a service that currently only has one way integration. 

 

While they work on this, can I use a list of email addresses and create an activity on contacts/leads to post this update?

    I am starting from scratch on this. I will look at those apps and see what works to start with
