The person who started SalesForce for us was our System Administrator in SalesForce.  Since he left, we modified his information so that another sales rep could use his account.  However, I now need to transfer the System Administrator privledges to my account.  I could not find anywhere on the SalesForce help screens on how to do this.

    I should have been more clear on my post.  All of us that use the system are set as System Administrators.  However, when I tried to assign roles, I got a message that indicate that I did not have sufficient access rights.  It is also challenging to inactivate the other user's account as he has current opportunities assigned to him that were assigned to the previous employee.  So even though all of us are showing as "System Administrators", I need to be THE System Administrator. Hope this clarifies the situation.
