deactivating events with history

How do I deactivating an planned event (e.g. meeting at 15.00 pm was cancelled) in a way that it is stored in the history. For single activities (without time) I can do it. Thanks Peter

    Keep the event as is. Once the date and time has passed, the event will move to history.

     

    Since you can't flag or mark the event as cancelled, I would edit the event, and add CANCELLED to the subject line and take off any reminders.
