
liveagent.addCustomDetail function.
What we want is to use an custom prechat form with a series of questions (customer name, email... a couple drop downs for reason for the chat) and have them map into the fast fill functions in the live agent console when creating a new contact or case.
Documented examples show only mapping of literal values. The deployment code is prior to the prechat form.
The prechat elements appear in the chat session so the agent is aware of the answers but being able to map these to the fast-fill function would save a good deal of agent work and improve accuracy?
Anyone know of this is possible and have an example on their site?
Am I missing something in the docs?
