Chatter Notification refresh/reload

Question

Is there a way to have the Chatter Notifications bell push with new notifications?  Maybe I'm missing something...but my users in the console rarely reload their pages, and they only see notifications when the page is refreshed.

Hi Jessica,

This is possible if you selected the Automatically Refresh detail page, i.e automatically refreshes when a record is changed.

in cosole from your relevant app.
