Want to convert a lead and keep getting workflow issues and fails to convert. Went into settings and removed the checkmarks for workflow. Still will not convert even after <Ctrl F5> to refresh the Leads page.

    Hi,

     

    Unfortunately I don't think you can convert leads using a workflow rule... But I'd happy to be wrong.

     

    THe only solution I know of is this :

    It's a paid app, I've used it and it works fine. Some setup is required but their support team will help and provide the test class for the trigger. basic admin skills are enough to deploy it.

     

    While we're at it, please note that F5 only refreshes the display of the page. To check if a workflow rule fire or not, you need to edit the record, then save. (even if you don't change anything, still counts as an edit).
