Search Feature in new SF Layout only reads exact words

Question

I thought that if you only put a part of the word it would still find something. It is only looking for complete words.

example: if I am looking for Bourgeois , I have to type it in exactly so it can find it, if i just type Bourge it will not return anything.

Am i missing something?

It looks like you will need to start to use wildcards (* or ?) to avoid having to type in exact.   Bourge*
