*Need Help*
Just joined a new company and am taking over their Pardot instance - still on week 1 so getting the lay of their land. We're experiencing an issue where *some* downloads of a Pardot-hosted file aren't registering in a prospect's activities.
I tested it on myself. I filled out a form on the website (making me a "prospect" in Pardot), and also clicked an HTML link in the autoresponder (to double-ensure that I was cookied).
I then downloaded our new eBook via the tracked file link, but it does not appear in my Prospect Activities or on the file's reporting. The file is tracking *SOME* downloads, but we put the direct-download link in a launch email and received way more clicks to it than the file's reporting is showing.
I've never had this issue before - does it sound like there could be a cookie setting I'm unfamiliar with, or should I open a support case? [I thought an HTML email click automatically cookied a prospect.]
@Erin Bionda Form Handlers ought to show as an action but depending on how they are executed they don't necessarily set a cookie, depends on a lot of factors. But the handler itself should show as an action, unless that handler is set as kiosk mode, so you could check that I guess.
