Hi all! Help needed!
How would I accomplish creating a dynamic autoresponder that pulls in the name of an access content file and the URL? The prospects have to put in their email via an external form to download. I have attempted to put completion actions on the file itself in Pardot, that write the file name and the URL to the prospect's contact record, but for some reason, Pardot is not rendering 99% of the file link clicks.
Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated.
Hi @Felicia Lorenzo I might be missing something here but
1. If you are using an external form, how you trying to send the autoresponder from Pardot ?
2. Assuming the form is gating the file. Pardot file's completion actions trigger after the file is downloaded/clicked so you cant use that information on the email autoresponder before the file is downloaded.
Here how I think you might be able to do the updates:
1. Get the external form to update the custom field to be updated (lets say its the pricing page form and pricing pdf).
2. Create an email template and use Dynamic Content variations of the above custom field and display hardcoded file names and URLs in the email.
3. Use an Automation rule which looks for prospects that are either getting the custom fields updated and/or being added to a specific crm campaign to send the email auto-responder.
Hope this helps, let me know if something is still unclear. Thanks
