You can use Engagement Studio. Next step after Start would be "Send Email" and Wait option is set to the desired number of days. Once a prospect is added to the List, the email will be sent after the set time.
**I'd also like to know if Pardot Templates can be set up for Operational Emails.**
The operational email feature only applies to list emails, not Engagement Studio or other automated emails. So, Template can't be used for that per se.
Template can be used for a list email sending, though.
