New to Pardot. Question on importing new prospects. Should we start by importing them into SFDC first? Or is it best as a new contact with no activity record to post in Pardot first?
Thank you for the comments. I believe there are a few of things here. First i came into a system with a variety of lists that no one was aware of the status. I also think that not all of the system is syncing up. New lists have been added to the mix (at the same time the connector is not syncing up). I believe that I do not have all of the required admin access to validate.
I was actually talking to a customer that said he had not received an email from my organization. But then I looked back at his record in Pardot. And it showed he had opened the last three emails.
The organization has just been acquired by a new organization. I am going to review all the lists in Pardot (there are about 40 of them). Validate what is in SFDC and clean up everything in Pardot. Post all the contacts in SFDC first then create new dynamic list based on the programs that are being developed in the last quarter of the year.
