Hello, I would like to have different page layouts for a user when they are in classic vs lightning. It seems that anything listed in the "Details" component in lightning is directly tied to the page layout assigned to the profile? Is there a way around this ? I was hoping I could assign an app specific page layout and use it only in lightning but that doesn't seem to be an option?
Nothing lightweight comes to mind, Screen Flows embedded on the page could technically meet the requirement, but would not recommend going that route.
Lightning Layouts - a pilot that you can opt into, will allow you the capability to break apart fields/sections and use the visibility options in the Lightning App Builder to control that. Perhaps it's worth opting in for the pilot and seeing what's coming next.
