We launched Lightning to 3200 users last week. The launch went with the exception of Files. Specifically -
1. Workspace (Library) had a sub folder structure that is not showing in lightening - therefore all files (content) is just dumped into the workspace (library). You can create new folders but you can't move existing content to those - has to be "revisions" to the old content. Huge issue.
2. You can't search under one workspace like you could in classic.
3. Content and Attachments (from classic) are now all jumbled together in Files.
4. The "preview" of content packs does not work, nor does content packs in general for that matter.
Our org has hundreds of thousands of files/content/attachments, so moving them all via the transition tools is just not applicable at this time. Anyone have thoughts on this?
We have the same issue...in addition, when you search for a file name, ALL versions are returned! We don't want folks grabbing an old version because we can't archive old versions or remove them from the search results. Seems logical to say sort by most recent but for some users, they won't do that.
