For those who implemented LEX Rollout projects, what's your shortest duration and your longest one? I want to have a gauge on what's the typical rollout duration for these kind of projects. This will help us in quickly plan and evaluate which of our customers we'll prioritize. Does this really have to be in relation to what the Lightning Readiness Check says?
We had a custom object that was highly used and therefore a must have feature for even a pilot group of 10. (In fact, we could not go to lightning in any capacity until this object was lighting ready.) Inside this build were VF pages, java buttons, dependent fields, etc. This object alone has taken months to get up and running with a contractor dev fully focused on this.
We are looking at putting our pilot group in lighting without allowing them to flip back to classic during this testing. However, removing that ability for these users in a production environment has taken a lot of thought and planning.
