Hello everyone,

We started using Agile Accelerator as our project management tool but I just had a quick questions that I couldn't seem to find the answer to. Is the "ToDo" record type discontinued within the application? We are looking for a way to track more internal task that are not related to our application within Agile Accelerator. If so, does anyone have any recommendation on what they do for this?

Thanks,

Michael

    1. You can use the 'My Tasks' built in to Salesforce. Click the Home tab and you will see the tasks listed. On an individual basis, this should work.

    2. You can create a custom object. We did this with Action Items to create work that can be assigned to individuals, updated, reported, and tracked.

    3. Another option is to use Agile Accelerator. You don't have to create sprints. Just add a Team (who wants to see the list of activities), give it a product tag like "Internal Tasks", and drop Work Items onto the Kanban board. Use the Kanban board to see a listing of items and the status. You could add columns to the Kanban Board based on assignment instead of status. Column titles: Joe, Sarah, Jim, etc. Status: assigned to Joe, assigned to Sarah, etc. It is just like a virtual whiteboard listing of 'stuff we have to do' and employees can move the items as they start to work on them and complete them. You wouldn't even have to create tasks under the work items unless you are trying to track hours.
