How is the sprint chart that displays team member capacity calculated? Is there some helper custom object behind the scenes that tracks hours remaining compared to team member capacity?

We would like to add this chart to a standard dashboard for each team's sprint so we can display the team member capacity for multiple sprints side-by-side on a single dashboard.
