A scheduled build called 2017.0101 previously existed. A user went through all Work items, found any work item that referenced this build, replaced it with a different scheduled build and then deleted the 2017.0101 build. The user was able to delete the build because no records referred to it. However, some users had customized their Backlog Manager view to include the deleted build and are now getting an error when they open the Backlog Manager that the build can't be found. There doesn't seem to be a way to reset the view to the default, and users can only remove items from the view if they can see them in the first place. I can't figure out a way to make this error go away for the user without database intervention at a level I'm not able to access. How can I fix this error so the user doesn't have to see it indefinitely when he opens Backlog Manager? (He can press OK to continue, but it's a product confidence issue.)
It would also be great if this loophole was closed and items that are deleted are automatically removed from views that reference the item or a fail-safe "reset view" feature was available so users could self-rescue.
