Hi everyone. Is it possible at this point in time to limit the available values of a dependent picklist based on the value selected in the controlling picklist? We have a large list of universities (1000+) and would like to help make the form more user friendly by filtering the values by state. It doesn't look like Pardot offers this functionality at the moment and I'm having trouble thinking up a workaround...
You could do multiple dependencies - but you would need to make custom fields for the universities in each state.
Example, make one custom field for universities in CA, and a differnt custom field for universities in AZ.
Then on your form, you edit the State field, and flip to the Dependent tab. Here you choose "when this field equals CA" show the field "Universities in CA" and "when this field equals AZ" show the field "Universities in AZ" ... etc.
I am not sure if there is a limit on dependencies you can set in this way. The knowledge base article does not address it. See the full article:
