I've been trying to install agile accelerator to evaluate it for internal support/development use. I installed it into two sandboxes for the System Administrator profile only and both times I received the following error(s) during the install:
'agf.ADM_ScrumTeamUtils' : Access to entity 'Group' denied: Entity is not api accessible
Failed to invoke future method 'private static void asynchronouslyCreateGroups(List<String>)' on class 'agf.ADM_ScrumTeamUtils' for job id '707W000000KKVWS'.
Failed to invoke future method 'private static void asynchronouslyCreateGroupMembers(List<String>)' on class 'agf.ADM_ScrumTeamMemberUtils' for job id '707W000000KKVWT'
I received the following error any time I tried to create a work item:
agf.ADM_ApplicationException: User has insufficient access to ADM_Work__c
I looked at some of the fields in the work object and noticed that there was no field level security configured for any profile for several fields. I added System Administrator to those fields and I was able to create work items.
Today I setup a fresh sandbox with the intent of testing to see if I had the same issues when installing for all user profiles and I received the same errors as before but when I went out to check the field level security it looked fine although some fields appeared to be missing or changed (agf__Data_Silo_Test_Affected__c for example). I was able to create a work item with no issues but I wonder if the errors I saw may cause issues later.
I just noticed that there's a new version that just released which could account for the field changes I saw and possibly the field security working as well...
Most of my team is really excited about this product and think it will be a great fit for use in our internal support and development processes but I'm concerned about the stability. I've talked to some other users and they love it and have had no issues with it so it may be either something to do with a recent update or specifically with my org.
Hi @Jason Mclain once v 1.38 is deployed to production you won't get any more errors but for any install of olders versions before then yes you can ignore the errors
