The Permission Sets have been fun. First, a bug: you cannot create work with the default permission sets. You need to make the Type field editable. And be careful removing edit rights from other fields. You could end up breaking everything, getting Insufficient Privileges errors with no context to track down what is missing. Hello, trial-and-error.

Second: I cannot get the Kanban Board tab to appear for non-System Admin users. I haven't gone the trial-and-error route yet on the permission set, but the Kanban Board object setting is granted, and I cannot find anything else to try. Clicking the tab, users just see Insufficient Privileges.

Would be great if the AA team tested with non-developer users using the perm sets shipped with the product. Seems like that bit was omitted prior to shipping the 1.0 build.

+1 on point 3 especially.  I wasn’t sure about that…I assumed you would hide items that were completed.  But I can see both use cases for showing and hiding completed work.

At any rate, I verified everything this morning and we’re all good now.  Thanks again...
