I have a duplicate story. when I change the status to "Duplicate" the record won't save unless I tie it to a parent record / to link it to the duplicate. I don't see a spot to make the association. Am I missing it?
When I override back to the standard layout, I see a field called Add Parent ID but that doesn't appear to be an editable field.

Yes, you can add parent and/or child stories on the 'Related' tab on the bottom half of the page. Click the '+' icon to enter in an existing Work Id, or click the 'New' button to create a new story altogether.
