Hello All,

I am seeking guidance regarding the upgrade of Apex class API versions within the Lightning Carousel and Banner

app, in relation to Salesforce's ICU Locale update requirement—which mandates that all components be on API version 45.0 or higher.

Upon review, we identified three Apex classes within this managed package that are currently on an API version below 45:

  • SS_CarouselController
  • SS_CarouselControllerTest
  • SS_CarouselSlideDTO

As these classes are part of a managed package, we do not have the ability to directly update their API versions within our org.

We would appreciate any insights or suggestions from others who may have encountered a similar issue with this package.

Thank you in advance for your support and feedback.

Hi @Yogendra-Singh Aplusify, try clicking 'Try It' for sandboxes first and check if the API version was updated. Then proceed with 'Get It Now' for production.

I tried this approach for a managed package and it worked — it successfully upgraded the version and updated the APIs as well.

    Hi @Sarathi M G,

I'm Ravindra from Trailblazer Help team. To install the app/package from AppExchange there should be a salesforce org connected in Trailblazer Settings page which should have app installation permissions. In this case you can follow below steps to create a new playground and connect it to settings page and install the package in playground org.

Once it is connected, please logout from Trailblazer account and login to Trailblazer account with the Salesforce option using the salesforce org username and it's password which was connected in Settings page and open the AppExchange link to install the package in the playground org.

Please feel free to mark my answer as Best Answer so that can be helpful for other Trailblazers over the community.

    Best Regards,

    Ravindra

I have a work order (rstk__wocst__c) which is a rootstock community object and as per the best practice I have covered the WorkOrderTriggerHander class  83%

but it has not covered my trigger. which is shown "Your code coverage is 0%. You need at least 75% coverage to complete this deployment."

does anyone knows how to cover this rootstock object trigger.?

Any one having idea that how can we cover the rootstock community object trigger classes

Thank you

Hi, I have run the converter in both my partial and production sandboxes, and for App Exchange packages, it keeps returning no results as if I have no packages. All other components run in the converter fine.

I've seen others in this group document the same issue but I never saw a resolution. Can anyone help with this?

Many thanks!

About the speaker

Mike has spent the past 30 years as a developer and technology consultant. 7 years ago he transitioned from the world of on-premise ERP implementations to the Salesforce Cloud. After experiencing first-hand the need to have sandboxes with valid business data to support aggressive development cycles, he decided to solve the problem himself and created Data Parrot. Mike lived in the Bay Area for 15 years, including two years in Marin.

About Data Parrot (https://appexchange.salesforce.com/appxListingDetail?listingId=a0N3A00000FAAe6UAH)

As a Salesforce AppExchange Partner (ISV), Data Parrot was created to solve the sandbox problem. It enables Admins, Developers and QA Users to copy complete sets of related data from any source to any target within a Salesforce production organization. Auto-discover all available sandboxes, build and copy data sets via a simple point and click query builder, include or exclude objects and managed packages and apply field masks to sensitive data fields. Data Parrot helps to increase the quality and accuracy of continuous development and deployment and decrease the development life-cycle timelines.

Hi, we ran the lightning readiness report in our org and I do see below message even though we have number of installed app exchange packages in my org. Can someone help with this.

Looks like your org doesn’t have any AppExchange packages. If you ran your scan in a sandbox org, try running it in your production org just to make sure.

Are we missing any setting or something? Please help.

Is anyone getting a status of "Unable to analyze" when scanning AppExchange Packages via Lightning Exp Configuration Converter?
