Marketing Cloud SMS Tip for Australian Audiences 🇦🇺
Something I recently learned that might save others a headache…
If you're sending SMS messages via Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Marketing Cloud Engagement) and using From Names (Sender IDs) for your Australian contacts, you must
have those Sender IDs registered.
💡 Here’s the catch:
You’ll need to reach out to your
Account Executive and request the form titled “Third Party Authority to use Sender ID(s)”.- Your AE will oversee the provisioning
- It’s free of charge.
- And if you don’t do it, your SMS messages might show as coming from
‘Unverified’—not a great look for brand trust!
