#Email Activity0 debatiendo

Hi all, just wondering if there's a similar scenario with us about Einstein Sharing Settings. Here's some context:

1. We have a group called "Managers"

2. Emails of supervisors will be shared in the group "Managers"

3. We have users who are not part of the group "Managers" and their email sharing setting is set to "Everyone".

So, If a rank-and-file user who is not a member of "Managers" is cc'ed in the email, it will mean that the cc'ed user will have visibility on the email activity.

Does it also mean that another rank-and-file user can see the email that is only shared with the Managers group, because a user who is not a member of the group is cc'ed (and that user sharing setting is set to everyone?

Sorry if there might have been a confusion but I hope someone can understand the context. Feedback much appreciated. Thanks!

@Andreas Janssen I know with the Gmail adapter, the thread of prior emails moved with the last update to the plugin. You now have to select the contact record under the "People" section and then look at that contact records "Activity" tab. The plug in no longer shows that thread of prior emails right away when opening an email. Hopefully this also applies to the Outlook plugin but I can't test because I don't have Outlook. Good luck.

What system are you using for tracking that email activity?  You just demonstrated the ability to track link usage.  However, historically, we haven't received any tracking information with Salesforce emails unless sent through Pardot.

Availability, Email Tracking, Text Shortcuts, and Send Later are all features included with the Inbox license.

Hi everyone,

I have a custom object call "XYZ". I'm actually using journey builder to empower my custom object with some emails. I click salesforce data and bring on some data to the journey, i add an email activity, then click on "Send tracking results to Sales Cloud".

Why i can't see the results of the emails?

Hi all,

I use Inbox to connect Outlook and Salesforce.

In order to log automatically some email to Salesforce can I use Einstein Activity Capture?

With EAC can I choose criteria to relate mail to SF record?

Is Einstein activity capture included in the inbox license?

tks

Hi Team,

Hope all are safe,

We are using Dynamic template as an email activity in our Journey and data extension as entry source the first email is receiving as per rules in dynamic content for the first time but after certain wait activity, the user is receiving the same email as it is not checking the rule in dynamic email.

I tried with AMP script also but no luck.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Raghav.

    Hi Raghav,

Have you correctly configured your entry source DE in Data Designer within Contact Builder so you can make use of "Contact Data"?

Your comment where you say "it's not checking the latest change happened" suggests to me that perhaps you could be using 'journey data' which is data that exists and does not change once a contact enters a journey. The data for that contact is set in stone when they enter if you use Journey Data.

    This may help:

Can anybody tell me how I can create/run a report in Salesforce Essentials to capture email activity over a particular time period (e.g. weekly)?  The activity report I've been able to create so far seems to capture only meetings, calls and other scheduled tasks/events.

I ran a version of a journey where I sent a series of 4 emails to a data extension. In the beginning of the journey I used a decision split to separate the data into 4 groups, and then I sent the same 4 emails to them with different wait times between deployments. Now I want to see which branch of the journey performed better. The problem is, I can't figure out how to query data about a specific Email Activity. I can see external keys and IDs for each in Journey Builder, but they don't match up to anything in the _JourneyActivity data view. Is there a better way for me to isolate a specific Email Activity sent with Journey Builder? I need to be sure that the activity I'm measuring was Email 1 of the first branch, second branch, etc.

    Hi @Kate Kacalek

: If queries aren't helping you then I feel there is a report in the Report Catalog by the name of Journey Builder Email Send Summary By Day

By using this you can segregate data on the day basis since I feel you would be knowing when the first 4 emails were sent and then the later on ones.

I hope this would be of some help.

Hi friends,

I want to send an email to a salesforce data extension in an automation and after sending the email I want to store the recipient in another data extension. I went ahead and tried to create a Send Email activity in automation studio but I am not able to get the option to select salesforce data extensions while creating a send email activity.

Please help me in finding out a solution where in I can send an email automatically to a salesforce data extension and then also store those subscribers in data extension.

Thanks
