How can unauthenticated users rate my articles?

I am using lightning knowledge and I've enabled the thumbs up and thumbs down buttons; however, they only show for logged in users.     We use the Article Feedback object and for guest user profile give access to Apex Class: afl.afl_ArticleThumbVoteCtrl 

    Article Feedback object permission: Read, Create

I was wondering whether there's any correlation that find an expression in knowledge search results, between the '5 star' ranking of Salesforce knowledge article to the 'Yes/No' votes of customer on PKB articles. see explanation:

I see that it is possible to sort knowledge article search results by rating --> so wouldn't it make sense if the article rating will consider the customers votes (PKB) in addition to the '5 star' ranking?

Can you please shed light on this?

    Sorry for the late respone, that's a great point @David Avnon . We do not do this at the moment, but are looking at ways to incorporate this information into our ranking algorithm in the future.

Hi just started using the star rating system on internal doc, and found that once a user gives an article a star rating, if he returns to that article, he can not change his rating. We are trying to use the stars to flag articles as needing an edit, but once the article is fine, the user should be able to give it a new high rating. Am I misusing the internal star rating? How are other people using it? Is there a way to allow a single user to change their rating? Thanks.

    I agree with Lynda -- keep ratings to external users only. In a KCS world, internal users should fix articles that aren't up to snuff. Rating an article one or two stars would actually be kind of passive-aggressive in KCS!

    If you want an internal feedback mechanism that can be updated (if not erased), consider using Chatter instead.
