how to pull a report based on orignal lead source data but to bring up all the contacts within the created accounts?

    When a Lead is converted, the Lead Source maps to the Contact but not the Account.  I assume this is your issue.  

     

    If you have access to Workflow, I'd suggest updating the Account Source field on conversion of a Lead so that you can use that field for reporting.
