trying to login to the salesforce mobile app to complete the mobile app module on admin beginner. I am logging in trying to use the playground credentials and my reset password and it will not recognize the login credentials.

In my case, I had to do the following to log in via the mobile app:
- Unlike what Divaker Singh wrote above, I had to click on the gear and choose Sandbox, not Production.
- Then I clicked the Use Custom Domain link.
- I entered the domain for my playground without http:// and ensured that the URL ended with my.salesforce.com, not lightning.force.com (which is what the URL is when I load my sandbox on my computer). Example: wise-raccoon-XXXXXX-dev-ed.my.salesforce.com.
- Only then could I enter my username (in email format, e.g., klesterl@wise-raccoon-XXXXXX.com) and my password for that sandbox and successfully log in.
Once I was logged in, I could then click on the profile icon on the top left and choose Change Account to enter credentials for other playgrounds (choosing Add new account first), again following the steps I outlined above.
