Opportunity → Quotes  Scenario:  When a Quote is approved, automatically mark it as the Primary Quote and uncheck all other Quotes.  Questions:  • How do you update multiple child records?   • How do you avoid recursive updates?

    Hi @Rohit .

I would use a Record-Triggered Flow with a Scheduled Path on the Contract.

    •  Set the Time Source = Contract End Date and Offset = 30 Days Before.
    •  At the scheduled time, check whether a Renewal Opportunity already exists.
    •  If not, use Create Records to create the Renewal Opportunity and notify the Account Owner.
    •  To prevent duplicates, use a Renewal Opportunity lookup or Renewal Created checkbox on the Contract.

    Flow:

Contract → Scheduled Path (30 Days Before End Date) → Duplicate Check → Create Renewal Opportunity → Notify Owner

This is cleaner than calculating the 30-day window manually. Salesforce supports Scheduled Paths based on a date field with a positive or negative offset.

    Hope This Helps!!

Hi all,

I would love to connect with someone to get expert coaching. I've followed these steps but can't find where to lock in a session?

  1. Select My Success Plans from the top navigation.
  2. Scroll to the Expert Coaching section.
  3. Select Explore Expert Coaching.

Any help would be amazing!

    Hi @David Lobriza

The Expert Coaching option is available to customers with an eligible Premier or Signature Success Plan.

You can access it from Salesforce Help → My Success Plans → Expert Coaching → Explore Expert Coaching. From there, select the relevant coaching topic and complete the request form to create the coaching request.

If you cannot see the option or the Request button is disabled, first verify that you are logged in with the org that has the appropriate Success Plan entitlement. If you have multiple orgs, switch to the org with the Premier/Signature entitlement and try again.

    Hope this helps!

🚀 Salesforce Winter ’27: Exciting New Features for Flow Builders!

Salesforce Winter ’27 is bringing some great improvements to Flow — making automation easier to build, debug, maintain, and scale.

Here are some of the Flow features every Salesforce Admin & Developer should know 👇

🔹 1. Improved Flow Builder Experience

Build and manage your flows more efficiently with enhancements to the Flow Builder experience.

🔹 2. Better Flow Debugging & Troubleshooting

🐞

New improvements make it easier to understand what’s happening during flow execution and identify issues faster.

🔹 3. Enhanced Flow Performance

⚡

Salesforce continues to improve Flow capabilities so you can build more scalable automation while keeping performance in mind.

🔹 4. More Powerful Flow Logic

🧠

New enhancements provide additional flexibility when designing complex automation and business logic.

🔹 5. Improved Flow Management

Managing multiple versions and maintaining automation becomes easier with continued improvements across the Flow lifecycle.

💡 Why does this matter?

Flow is becoming more than just a point-and-click automation tool. With every release, Salesforce is making Flow a stronger platform for building enterprise-grade automation with less custom code.

👉 If you're working with Salesforce Flow, Winter ’27 is definitely a release worth exploring.

Hi, We're working on sending offline conversions from Sales Cloud to Google Ads. I've been tasked with researching best practice so I'm hoping someone out there has done this in a way that works well.    Specifically, I'm wondering how you have gone about populating the GCLID in Salesforce and assigning it to Opportunities.   1. If someone clicks multiple ads do you retain multiple GCLIDs or overwrite the existing GCLID?  2. If a user clicks an ad and there is no immediate conversion, but a conversion occurs 6 weeks later from a non-Google campaign, do you assign the GCLID to the Opportunity or do you only assign to opportunities that result directly from a click?  3. Do you associate GCLIDs with specific campaign members or with contacts generally?    I have my own thoughts on this but have been asked to research best practice, so any feedback as to how other businesses handle this would be much appreciated.    FYI we intend to use opportunity created, opportunity stage changes to 'Sale Recorded' and opportunity stage changes to 'Sale Complete' as conversions. We use Sales Cloud (we don't have Account Engagement or Marketing Cloud).    Thanks!

I’d keep the GCLID history tied to the lead/contact and carry the relevant one to the Opportunity. For multiple clicks, keeping the history can make attribution much easier later.
