Certified Platform Developers understand how to develop and deploy custom business logic and custom interfaces using the programmatic capabilities of the Lightning Platform. They know when to use declarative versus programmatic methods, and can extend the Lightning Platform using Apex and Visualforce.
PATH TO CERTIFICATION
This certification consists of two parts: the Platform Developer II multiple-choice certification exam and the Advanced Apex Specialist superbadge. These credentials can be earned in any sequence and will automatically earn the Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II Credential
