Salesforce Einstein 1

Connecting to customers in new ways isn’t easy for many companies. Transforming the technology of an already established system to integrate new solutions makes delivering a connected customer experience all the more challenging. This is why we’ve created Salesforce Einstein 1. Salesforce Einstein 1 is an integrated CRM platform that provides a 360-degree view of your customers, so companies can transform their businesses and better connect with their customers. To help guide your company to deliver a connected customer experience with Salesforce Einstein 1, we created solution kits.

What Are Solution Kits?

Whether you’re an architect or a solution engineer, solution kits contain the reference materials you need to make technical decisions. Salesforce solution kits start with a use case that addresses a common challenge with connecting clouds. Each kit outlines an architecture diagram, best practices, considerations, and materials needed to deliver a solution for the use case. Solution kits are your guides to delivering a connected customer experience across Salesforce products.

By using solution kits, you reduce the time to value of your Salesforce implementation by following Salesforce-approved best practices for connecting Salesforce technology across clouds. We’ve vetted every solution kit with Salesforce experts, and have defined the recommended approach for achieving your connected customer experience goals. If you have custom requirements, the solution kits act as a starting point.

How to Use a Solution Kit

Solution kits guide the architecture design you need to implement a specific use case. Each solution kit gives you a high-level view of how each use case works within an overall  architecture.

What’s Included in a Solution Kit?

Each solution kit is centered around a business use case and includes functionality and performance considerations. A solution kit includes a solution architecture diagram that explains how to deliver a connected customer experience using today’s technologies. Within each kit, you get an overview of the use case and which actions you need to take to implement the solution.

For example, the Abandoned Cart Solution Kit outlines a solution design that helps businesses incentivize shoppers to complete purchases left in their digital shopping cart. This solution kit includes the preceding diagram, which illustrates the flow of data as part of the solution. This solution requires connecting Commerce Cloud and Marketing Cloud Engagement. The kit also outlines performance considerations to think about when implementing this solution, such as data set import limits.

Each solution kit includes the following.

  • Required products: List of products you need to implement the solution.
  • Workflow: Visual overview of how the user and the systems interact with each other to support the solution.
  • Connecting technology: List of required connectors or APIs to build this solution.
  • Configurations: Description of required configuration work across each product for the solution to work.
  • Design considerations: Limitations and performance guardrails that need to be taken into consideration to build the solution.
  • Resources: Additional resources or solution kits that support implementing the solution
