Hello,

I have a rep who has been able to send e-sign documents through Conga Composer in the past but is now getting an error. Other users can send the e-sign, but the error is reproduced when logging in as the user.

"ERROR: The CongaSign API is temporarily unavailable, please try again later."

Rep not able to send e-sign order form Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

This issue occurs when the Email Address parameter does not contain a value. In such cases, Conga Sign is unable to process the request and displays the error message: “The CongaSign API is temporarily unavailable, please try again later.”

Please ensure that the required Email Address parameter is populated before sending the e-sign document.

@Shiva Shankar Das chinta you can may try async mode by Configuring the tool to use Background Mode (e.g., Conga &DS7=12) so that synchronous time out limit can be bypassed

Conga Query not showing up on generated template document

I am new to salesforce / conga, so apologies if I use incorrect terminology.

I am attempting update a conga template by adding some extra merge fields that utilize Conga queries and the Conga solution UI to automatically fill in some values. My problem is that when I generate the document using a custom action button on one of our record pages, the merge fields I just added are not filing in, so it leaves a blank space where the values should be. There are other merge fields on the document that work correctly, its just the new ones I tried adding that are not populating on the generated document.

Here is the conga button I'm using (some Ids and names have been changed for privacy):

And here is the query:

SELECT SCMC__Unit_Cost__c FROM SCMC__Purchase_Order_Line_Item__c WHERE SCMC__Purchase_Order__c = '{pv0}' AND SCMC__Line_Number__c = '1' LIMIT 1

And in the Conga solution UI, I added pv0 = {!SCMC__Purchase_Order__c.Id}

Finally, in my conga template, I'm trying to access the value of that query with this syntax but nothing ends up showing when I generate the document:

{{InitialPayment.SCMC__Unit_Cost__c}}

Did I set something up wrong or am I using the incorrect syntax, etc? Any advice would be appreciated.

Also, another issue I'm having is I'm trying to use a merge field to access a field on the Master object (Master object type is 'SCMC__Purchase_Order__c' using this syntax:

{{Master.SCMC__Total_Value_of_PO__c}}

But again, this value is not populating when I generate the doc.

And as a general note, I know for a fact that these values do exist on the relevant objects. I have the record pulled up and am looking at the fields and the corresponding values.

check the conga quiries, normally when this used to happen I open it in the conga composer and make sure that I can see the fields there and just copy and paste

Hi everyone ,i am looking for solution Related to (Using Implementation OR alternatives ) for replacing the Conga Composer Job ?

what are the ways Available to generate the pdf with dynamic field values and is it possible to implement using Apex ?, (Right now using Conga Composer generating the Documents with different templates based on conga Queries) now i am looking to possibilities with free of cost appExchange App or any other ways to workout the same functionality

please give your ideas it means a lot to my use case

Yes, there are many document generation apps available on the appexchange. docuWeaver is one option that can do exactly what you’re looking for. It’s a paid application but its pricing is much more affordable than Conga. It also offers a trial, so you can explore it and get familiar with its features.

Conga - few technical questions.

Hi, I am new to Conga and trying to crack some things and getting lost in their manual. I just need to map some fields and add specific merge field onto Email Subject or Body which seems like requires a lot of work.

Questions:

What is required to map a Checkbox from signed document into Salesforce record that URL button was launched from?
Conga Email Templates
1. How to remove attachment from the email when document is sent to sign?
2. How to add "View Document" link?
3. How to add notifications to sender the same way it works with standard CongaSign functionality

4. Add View Document link. Use {{CongaSign__SigningURL__c}} from the Conga Sign record in your email template.

How is it supposed to work? Where do I find this field? When i just place it in the Conga Email Template its treated as non existent field.

What object is that SigningURL__c on? I dont see that neither...

Open Conga button - Custom alert on press?

Hi all, is it possible to add an alert to a custom "open conga" button (detail button page, display new window behaviour)?

We have a use case where we need to remind the user to choose the correct Group when conga finally gets to the Adobe Sign page...

Yes, it’s absolutely possible to add an alert to a custom “Open Conga” button that’s a Detail Page Button with “Display in new window” behavior — you can do this by modifying the JavaScript in your custom button.

Using Conga Composer to generate a directory document

Just wondering if this is possible.

All references to using Conga and a SF report refer more to using it to find all related records (creating a doc of all Opptys related to 'this' Account)

I won't have a controlling object/record, just want to run a report of all Contacts who meet the report criteria at that time and to generate a document with the Contacts from the report listed in it.

Is Conga Composer the right app for this? I can't find any Conga support email addresses, so thought I'd ask here first. Thanks!

Conga Composer make PDF un-editable to Contact

Hi,

Conga Composer is working really well, and I can edit the date field on a new template each month. However, I have 3 fields that pull through from SF depending on who I'm sending the PDF to e.g. Name of Account, Member Since.

The problem is that when the PDF is sent out to the Contact, these fields are editable. How do I make it so that they are not editable please?
