Hi all,
I am doing reports to show all quotes against each account over 5 year period. We utilise different structure for each department, some just on opportunity (transactional ones); some on standard quote object "Quote" (simpler product quoting); and some on "SBQQ__Quote__c" (more co0mplex product quoting).
Some accounts may have some of each type, some only 1 type, or none at all.
All is OK, except that when an account none of any, it shows as quantity "1" in record count (whether choose unique count or not). Apparently Salesforce classes these empty rows as 1, as it has account on it. This happens on a matrix report (which is what I need).
The work around i can see is to add a custom field field to each object reporting on, that just has value of "12", and then count sum of this field.
If anyone knows a better way, please advise. FYI, I this is also on Joined reports (joined all three objects).
I need to use the with or without related records, so that we show accounts with no action.
Ideally, salesforce should add a toggle to include or exclude null rows in counts - any ideas out there already i can upvote (in the vane hope of it getting done before i retire...lol)
