We would like to know more about that experience and who did the integration.

    Hi @Chris Farwell

We integrated with iWaves and that has been a good experience. The cost was very similar for both products. Be glad to talk more about it off-line if you need to.

Trying to integrate Wealth Engine with Sandbox, but we are experiencing issues when it comes to the mismatched email addresses. My Salesforce email address matches my Wealth Engine login, but these two do not match (as is standard) my Sandbox login. Has anyone experienced this issue before and have any guidance on how to reconcile? Would like to test in Sandbox before using in Salesforce.

Hi @Beau Westbrook . I believe your WE username has to match the user email address. In this case your sandbox email address should match your WE username. You can have the same email address in both - production or Sandbox. If you still have issues, WE support has been very helpful. Hope this helps.

Halp! I need someone smarter than me to explain what this means. I'm prepping a large report for a Wealth Engine screening and the last sentence in their pdf of file specs says "If your software program provides a file layout (also known as a “control file”), please include this with your production file. If a control file is not sent, ensure that you include column headings on the file that is submitted."

My "software program" is Salesforce. I'm not at all sure, but I'm guessing this has something to do with my column headers being different from their column headers (e.g. Billing Street vs ADDRESS_LINE1)... possibly to make it easier to update all of my records with the file they provide me AFTER doing the address verification and wealth screen? Does anyone have insights?

I've seen a similar post to this where the OP was directed to use the FindID tool in DemandTools. I'm hoping there's an easier way (i.e. one that doesn't require me to learn a whole new tool).

We recently made the leap to using #wealthengine. Part of our investment includes one mass address verification pass. The process requires a spreadsheet that contains all Household Contacts in the same row, plus a lot of the Contact details we have for the primary. WealthEngine does provide some OOTB reports with the app, but they don't have this one and there is zero guidance in creating it.

Is there a straightforward way to create this report? Instructions anywhere for how to do this? Would it make sense to create temporary formula fields (not exactly sure what that looks like, but it seems like a solution) to pull Contact2 data into the C1 record so I can report on it? If not, is my only option to learn how the FindID tool works? I won't have Apsona til next year.

I'm far from an expert, although I'm learning as fast as I can. Looking back at my suggestion, I'm actually surprised it would work if you only have one contact. When you filter it down to only non-primary contacts, there is no one left! So I'm not sure how that could have worked. What you're seeing sounds a little funny. Isn't there always a primary contact?

Would it make more sense to start the custom report type with Accounts, then add Contacts as a "with or without"? Pull in the primary contact details via lookup, as I suggested before. Then, when you filter to just the non-primary contact, you should still get every account, even though the contact info will be blank for single contact households. Then you can drop in the primary contact info using those lookup fields.

That sounds reasonable to me, but I'm not going to have time to test it in my own system today. I'm starting an 8 hour meeting about Community Cloud soon. Good luck!

I have 100 Contacts.

All of them are in a common Campaign (Related List=Campaign History).

All of them have Wealth Engine data (Related List=Results).

How do I create the report that contains these Contacts/Campaign Members along with their Wealth Engine/Results data? I've messed around in custom reports and don't see the solution. Might this involve crossfilters or joined reports? Looks to me like a custom Contact report based on two different Related Lists but I've never had to build one like this.

We do have some prebuilt #Wealthengine reports, but this does not appear to be one of them. Would appreciate your guidance!

If you just need to see the WE data for contacts that are part of a certain campaign, you could accomplish like this:

Set up a "Contacts with Results" record type - sounds like you already did this. Make sure that the "A records have at least one related B record" option is selected.

Then create your report and add a cross filter (

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3jylFrXhow

    ):

    Contacts with Campaign History

    - Campaign Name equals [insert campaign name here]

You will see a row for every "Results" record that is associated with a contact record that is part of the campaign you specified in the cross filter.

Has anyone pulled data for a Wealth Engine screening? Any tips on which report types to use? I am hitting a wall with the template that they are asking us to follow. @Fundraising @Libby Ziemelis

Wealth Engine and similar donor data enhancement can be a huge addition to your engagement info in Salesforce. Imagine if you could pull a list of your most active volunteers who also have high capacity but haven't given at that level...yet :)

If you have an engagement strategy in your org, definitely worth a look.

Does anyone have experience using a data analysis platforms such as "We Analyze"? Basically we're looking for ways to better understand our constituent database by leveraging larger consumer data sets that go beyond the data we have in SF. The goal would be to develop personas based on larger data sets so we can make more insightful marketing decisions.
